Disclosure document for data subjects pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of European Regulation 2016/679.
This document explains how we process the data you provide to attend the event.
“Personal data” means “any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.”
All the data subjects are adults because entry to the trade fair is reserved for persons aged 18 and up, as specified on the tickets whose terms and conditions all visitors are understood as accepting.
The Data Controller (or, simply, “controller”) is Messe Frankfurt Italia S.r.l., with tax and VAT number 12632140153 and registered office at No 68 Corso Sempione, 20154 Milan (MI), Italy, here represented pro tempore by Mr Donald Joachim Wich, domiciled for legal purposes at the above registered office.

The purposes for which your personal data will be acquired, periodically updated and processed are as follows:
Be advised that in order to participate in the event, you must consent to the use of your data for the purposes referred to above in in points a) to d). You do not have to provide your data, but failure to do so will prevent your participation at the event and will in any case disable us from fulfilling your requests.
Visitors who wish to attend the fair without releasing their personal details may acquire an anonymous ticket at the reception desk.
Your data shall be processed and securely stored in hard copy or on electronic media inside the European Union.
The data you release shall be processed only for the purposes laid out in point 2 and shall be retained only for the time necessary for the processing or else for an extended period as specified by current tax and civil law.
For marketing communications in particular, we shall process your data until you tell us that you no longer wish to receive our communications, which you can do at any time by sending an appropriate message to: email@example.com.
Your data will be processed for the purposes referred to in points a), b) and c) in order to execute a contract or fulfil contractual provisions that you have requested.
For the purposes referred to in points d) and e) above, the legal basis is your consent to the processing.
Your data may be shared with the following parties:
During our events, data processors appointed by Messe Frankfurt Italia S.r.l. as well as third parties not associated with our company (e.g. journalists, press officers or private individuals) may take photographs or make audio-visual recordings. Therefore, by taking part in such events you accept that your image may be captured and, consequently, transmitted, published, and/or posted (including on social networks and/or by individuals).
In particular, video footage is generally broadcast by Class CNBC and SPS Italia on its own channels.
By attending the event you consent to the possible use of your image in the manner described above. If you do not want your image to be captured or used, do not attend the event.
Be advised that you enjoy the following rights:
Where processing has been restricted, your personal data shall, with the exception of storage, be processed only with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest. We shall always inform you before the restriction of processing is lifted.

You also have the right to file a complaint at any time to the competent Supervisory Authority, specifically the Italian Data Privacy Authority (“Garante”), or else file suit with a judicial authority pursuant to Article 140-bis et seq. of the Privacy Act (Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018).
Messe Frankfurt Italia S.r.l. reserves the right to amend or update all or part of this document, including in relation to changes in the law and/or instructions from the competent Authorities.
